It was an atmosphere of excitement on Wednesday when winners
of MTN Project Fame Season 9 were presented with brand new cars as part of
their winnings.
Brand new cars were presented to the first prize winner,
Okiemute Ighorodje; the first runner up, Elizabeth Emoruwa and the second
runner up, Kitay Okotete.
The closing gala of the competition organised by Ultima
Studio Limited and sponsored by MTN Nigeria was held in September 24 at the
Ultima studios. The seven finalists,Winner Egbo,Dapo Arogundade, Pere Davies,
Kitay Okotete, Elizabeth Emoruwa and Okiemute Ighorodje, the winner were all
presented with their prize money in cheques.
Okiemute is a graduate of Linguistics and Communications
from University of Port Harcourt.
The 25-year-old who had a stint in modelling before
branching out to singing received N5 million as prize money in addition to the
brand new Sports Utility Vehicle she just received.
At the presentation held at the Lagos office of MTN Nigeria,
Okiemute expressed gratitude to God, Ultima studios, and MTN Nigeria for the
wonderful opportunity.
“This car actually suits my skin tone, I absolutely love
it!”
