This is not to discredit any Ministry as I appreciate the work of everyone that preach Christ)
In the 80s When Ministries like Deeper Life, Church of God Mission, Assemblies of God etc where preaching about Holiness and Spiritual Authority. The church was making so much impact. Unbelievers knew they were unbelievers and needed salvation. Everyone knows when an individual gets born again, because it was something that brings about a total turnaround.
Soon after some people came into the scenario with special abilities to cast out devils from unbelievers who came to spy on the church. That made those people feel they were more anointed. They began to get proud. These people were not grounded in the word of God. And they abandoned studying God's word to concentrate fully in this new self driven assignment. The devils started giving them directions. So when a service is on and much worship is going to the Almighty God, the devils will come disrupt the worship by shouting and manifesting. The worship is ended and attention given to the devil. These agents of the devil will start revealing, what the church called their secrets (LOL). You will here the agents say things like.........................
I am the queen of the coast
I was sent to kill pastor
I saw fire around him
And many others..................So the special demon destroyers, who don't understand the word of God and who they really are will come out and use the remaining part of the service to cast out the demons. The demons will be shouting fire, fire, fire, fire.................fire is burning us. This turned the attention of the church from the real symbol of their authority which is the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, to using fire. When the demons realized they had succeeded in replacing the name they bow to, to fire........... they started pretending by being burnt when this people shout fire. So the church started feeling that fire works more than the name of Jesus. Ladies and Gentlemen......... this was how the name of Jesus was replaced with fire. So instead of praying with the name of Jesus, we began to pray by fire and the likes. These agents went further to deceive these people by dramatic displays like crossing their fingers, folding their legs and several other display. This made these people to start going for the fingers, the legs. So the demons were really using them to play.
This people failed to realize that a devil don't have the ability to say the truth, the bible says he is the father of lies and when he speaks, he speaks lies as a language. So all the secrets of the kingdom of darkness that these ministers got from the devil, were all lies. So these devils actually succeeded in changing the agenda and direction of the church. So we started given about 90% of our service time to the devil and the other 10 % to money off course not to God because the bible made it clear that you can't serve God and Mammon. There are several things that has crept into the church subtly in this same manner. We really have to return strictly to practicing the ACTS OF THE APOSTLES.
