Moving on to identifying who an ideal hubby or wifey should be. If we as singles decide to build up our inadequacies, mend our flaws and desire to get knowledge, we will all be a suitable future hubby and wifey to that dream girl and dream woman and the rate of divorce will drop drastically.
FEMALE: My mum
often say to me, “it’s a man’s world and it is as simple as this, what a man
has to do 50% and the world will applaud him, you my lady will have to do 150% before
the world notice or even applaud you. Gone are the days when a woman’s position
is only in the kitchen or as someone put it “and the other room”. My dad also
use to say to me when I was much younger that “A woman with empty brains
irritates her man and he hardly listens to her, but a woman who knows her worth
and has something upstairs is a gift to her man, because she can add value to
his life and raise his kids top-notch.”…. Being a woman is beyond having a
curvy shape, straight legs and sexy eyes, rather the qualities of a mature
woman are;

MENTALLY
MATURED: A Lady is mentally matured when she is able to put her pride under
control. (A lady could be 30, 40 or 50 and still is not mentally matured). A
mentally matured lady must be able to put your interest before hers. She must be able to admit her faults and not
claim rights all the time. She is ready
to be under authority and she is also teachable; works on herself daily to be the
best rather than remaining in one position. Willingly to ask for forgiveness
without being coaxed to do so. She has the ability to express herself, showing what’s
going on inside without throwing tantrums, she doesn’t expect him to know what
is going on inside her without her expressing it. She understands that men are
not mind readers, so she is very expressive with how she feels.

EMOTIONALLY:
I’m a lady, but personally I hate DRAMA. A lady should be EMOTIONALLY
stable before she thinks of tying the knot. Gone are the times when all you
have to do is cry your eyes out when there is a conflict or you try to sweep
the issues under the carpet. Sweetie, you must learn the act of talking so as
to resolve issues. Confrontation is key to conflict resolution.

RELATIONALLY:
A lady must cultivate the habit of being relational, not just to her man, but
to his family and people around her, a lady should be homely, warmly and
welcoming. She must have the tendency to work with others, she has the patience
to step down sometimes or allow people air their views. Sweetie, if you can’t
come to agreeing terms with anyone, you can’t marry because marriage is all
about compromise. So you have to develop your ability to agree with people.
Life will never give you anything at a platter of gold. In
the hands of every woman are the destinies of are; husband and kids, you can’t
afford to mar your husband instead of supporting him to become all God has
created him to be. Also, would you not
want to mar your kids rather than make them become what God purposed them to be…
you have got work on your hands girl, so you will have to get off your lazy
butt and WORK, WORK, WORK, WORK, WORK, WORK on yourself to be a delightful
woman to your man, kids and to your world at large.
